Scott was hired by the buyer to secure a new location for their office in downtown Omaha. Buyer’s business relies heavily on young aggressive talent and wanted a new location to help them attract millennials. They also needed downtown parking for 60+ employees and the ability to grow into the space. The transaction was smooth, quick, and met all of the buyer requirements. The proximity to Old Market and Capital District satisfied the coolness factor need. We were able to negotiate two parking agreements to secure the 60+ needed parking spaces, one with a private garage and one with the City of Omaha to provide some off-street parking opportunities in an abandoned alley. We closed quickly after diligence and we believe it is a very fair price. Buyers are excited to occupy these historic buildings in the Old Market and have immediate access to Riverfront Revitalization Development, replacing the Gene Leahy Mall.
